Can the iOS EBC app be updated to beep to warn on upcoming intervals? I saw that the android version has this, but no mention of iOS.

I use the iOS app and I hear it 8 seconds before it happens and a different tone when the interval starts. This is happening on both iPhone and my iPad
Thanks, that’s weird, i have the volume cranked all the way up but didn’t hear anything. I’ll have another try.
You should hear a tone as soon as you tap 
to start a selected workout.
Interesting. I’ve never heard any sound at all from the EBC app on my iPhone.
I hear sounds for Start, Discard, and transitions (10-8 secs before and when interval starts).
Tested on old iPhone SE (circa 2016, iOS12), an iPhone 12 (iOS18), an iPhone 12 Mini (iOS26), plus an iPad 5th gen (iPadOS 16)
Must have something to do with Settings.
On Android EBC the sounds are tied to media volume, but I couldn’t find that on an iPhone.

Yeah, forget that. I always have my phone on Mute! I realized this after checking the App Notification settings and found Sound set to Off. Changed it to On and it didn’t make any difference. That’s when I remembered my phone is always on Mute!
The funny thing is that I don’t even consider it on Mute because the things I normally care about having sound for (videos on YouTube, for example) override the Mute switch anyway and do in fact play sound. Of course lots of pop-up ads still have sound as well. 
It’s nice to see that the Xert EBC app doesn’t override the Mute button (although I don’t know exactly how/why the other apps do). I guess I’ve just gotten used to what really is a bug in iOS!
PS. The Notification settings have nothing to do with sound for workouts in the Xert EBC app. Just unMute your phone and they work.
