Intervals.icu integration

Hi there. I am totally new to this xert thing. I use intervals.icu as database for all my activities ect. Is there possibility to sync activities from intervals.icu to xert? If not, is it possible to get in future? All my data comes from coros, i have coros apex2 pro and dura, so i live with that coros ecosystem.

Cheers.

Not sure, just go via Strava then feed it to Xert

This is not best way, cause strava has only those activities from different apps after those are finished, but for example in my intervals.icu it has everything recorded, not just strava activities. I am multiple times cycling warm up before strava activity is even recorded, so that time is not calculated to those activities, and missing from xert easily.

Intervals.icu should be able to integrate with our open API https://www.xertonline.com/API.html and send/receive activities and workouts too.

Thanks for that, i am going look for this and how to get it running.
Cheers.

I would LOVE Intervals.icu integration! Intervals is the best and most open free platform for maintaining records of activities and it integrates with almost everything, except Xert.

Link through strava. Xert to Strava, Strava to Intervals. I do.

I’ve been using intervals because Strava is getting more annoying and less useful each year if you don’t pay for an overpriced subscription. Intervals is free (or $5 if you want). I’m worried Strava will start charging for the feature that they know a lot of people use it for which is as a syncing hub/go between other apps.

Another vote for the integration!

I do not use strava anymore, so no integration from intervals.icu is deal breaker actually.

Agreed - direct intergration would be great. I’ve asked David at Intervals about intergration, and he said this is on this long list but the Xert API appears to require your username and password which complicates things Syncing Xert Planner with Intervals.icu - #5 by david - Intervals.icu Forum

To get around this I’ve written my own script to sync my fitness signiture and upload todays workout to Intervals. Originally this was written in R, not the most universal but thats the language I use day to day and am most familar with.

Over the weekend I’ve updated my original R script to run within the Google Sheet scripting environment. I’ve got it setup to auto run each morning and sync TP, HIE, PP, LTP and WOTD from Xert to Intervals. I posted it to the intervals forum if you want a copy yourself Syncing Xert Planner with Intervals.icu - #10 by Aindriu - Intervals.icu Forum

Even though it is off topic based on the discussion of the thread, I am +1 on this. I am meanwhile really annoyed by Strava and after cancelling my paid membership, I even deleted most of my activities (leaving only those I “need” for “tile hunting”), because most of the paid features I have no use for it, their unfair - maybe even illegal - pricing policy within the EU, and their latest “business politics” approach in regards of other companies.

+1 from my end for the integration (to get back on topic  ).

I was also wondering about the status of this – considering to come back to XERT, but I have all my data (only!) on intervals.icu and I want to keep it that way as my central hub for wellness and activity data.

It’s not so much that I need Xert to push workouts to i.icu, but that Xert needs to get its input from there…

Any option/roadmap to get this anytime soon?

You can likely just use your original source (Hammerhead, Garmin, Wahoo, Rouvy, Zwift, etc. or Strava) and sync these to Xert.

Thanks. Oh well, there are a number of sources (Wahoo, Garmin, Strava, Apple Health and others) and most of them will not (anymore) pass on data they do not own, i.e., Garmin will not pass on activities that were not recorded by a Garmin… and non of these other sources are curated, which might or might not be a problem. Being incomplete clearly is one;-)
