I’m feeling somewhat deflated about the huge deficit I have. Two long haul flights have certainly had an overall effect on tiredness and this was telling across my last two rides, despite trying to put down threshold efforts, they both fell short of my MPA significantly ! (As expected)
Nevertheless I’ve now some time to get back to normal routine (~11 to 13 hours a week), but am starting this week with a huge deficit that I’m never going to recover. How do I best approach this ?
