How to use Xert Player on a HT Kettler Racer RS

Hi everybody,

How can I connect Xert Player (Workouts) with my Home Trainer (cycloergometer) KETTLER Racer RS to get data on Xertonline.

I do not know this bike, but normally you can install power meter pedals and be good to go. E.g. Favero Assioma DUO. You can just move these between your trainer and your bike.

ah - ok, thanks Hans -kettler is a bit like Peloton or an indoor training functionality. i use Kettmaps and it produces readings for wattage etc already. Favero is a further investment that im not sure i want to splash out for if i dont need to

As @hpbieker mentions the only solution is power meter pedals (expensive :frowning: ).
This would allow you to ride Xert workouts on EBC and match the resistance required to hit workout targets.
This assumes your Kettler unit allows you to quickly dial in the resistance required.
Some spin bikes control resistance by cadence only rather than a knob to adjust.
Cadence only control could work as long as the “watts” range required is sufficient .

Hello all. A clever german guy, Uwe Boehm, has developped an app allowing control of Kettler bike by Zwift or other apps controlling the HT via ANT-FE C and/or BT.

For me it was a little fiddly to configure, but it worked. (I had a 2010 Ergorace for 11 years before the axle broke). Should be easier with more recent models controlled via BT.
