Hi Stuart, what other activities are you wishing to upload? You can set this up on your Strava or Garmin Connect sync page. We suggest that you not add XSS for non-cycling activities because they will impact the Training Advisor recommended workouts on the bike. The Training Advisor currently only supports single-sport.
