Hi,
How long history is Xert using when calculating a riders profile?
Also, how is the logic when analysing an effort made example 12 months ago, vs an effort last week?
I would assume that recent efforts and performances have higher significance than efforts made back in history.
If only last X months have any real significance, I don’t see the need to load longer history from Strava/Zwift. I have +4 years of Zwift cycling data in Strava and pondering if I should take the effort to load them, since it will require thousands of mouse-clicks in order to do that, or maybe there is a more simple way to load a long history?
90 days is usually plenty to start with on Xert but if you like to view historical data analysis you can go back as far as you want.
Use Strava Sync – (5) Xert - Connect with Strava
I suggest you configure Edit Activity Types and select cycling only (Rides, Virtual Rides).
Then select Custom Range under the date dropdown and enable Sync from Strava to Xert.
OK, did that. Tried to load Jan-1 2024 to Sept-30 2024, Which is 618 activitie but when I mouse-over the sync button, I get this symbol that I cannot press sync. Is it too many activities so I have to load fewer months at the time?
