Heart Rate and Cadence


I am curious if other metrics such as heart rate and cadence play any role in your system. Is heart rate worth recording, is it used in any of the fitness modeling, metrics, or activity recommendations? Is cadence used or suggested in any way? Do any of the activities demand a specific cadence range to simulate higher torque values and strength adaptation?

At the moment, both HR and Cadence are only reported. They are not used in any analysis. In the future, however, both will likely be used to help provide greater precision and will be used to identify training strain for activities without power data.
