Gravel cycling as an activity (Strava sync)

Hi all

First of all - thank you for a great platform. I really love it :grinning_face:

Secondly - I have started using a new sync chain for virtual as well as IRL-rides and I have come across a rather irritating issue. My IRL-chain is “Garmin→Xert→Strava”. When I ride my gravel bike the session is recorded as “gravel” but as Xert doesn’t have an “Activity Type” called “Gravel Cycling” it ends up as just a “normal” ride in Strava and I have to either leave it as is or change type and bike manually. As I track bike and chain wear through Strava - I currently choose to change rides manually, so it would be great if I didn’t have to :smiley:

Should be an easy fix i guess

Hello,

as a temporary workaround you could try activityfix - you can set rules to what happens to uploaded strava rides, such as automaticall inserting text, switching map styles or - afair - which type of ride it was :slight_smile:
