Will it ever be possible to sync activities with garmin connect as a premium account is required for strava and training peaks sync?
Yes. Garmin Connect sync is on our roadmap. Note however, that a premium Strava account is not currently required to sync activities. Just a regular account will suffice.
Do you maybe already have any more precise information towards the target date for this sync to Garmin Connect?
We are talking with Garmin and are in the process of scoping the development and changes required to support Garmin Connect. It is high on our priority list but we aren’t able to provide a committed date at this time. Fortunately, much of the infrastructure is already in place on our system so we don’t expect it to require a lot of code to be developed.
