Seems like there is no freshness slider on the AI generated planner? Been playing around with the overall freshness needs for the plan, not sure how to dial this in because it seems like I’m always yellow even if I turn down the recovery needs. If I were manually feeding it back I would definitely mark myself more fresh.
Is there a reason the slider is not here on XFAI? I would think it would be just as applicable so I can get a higher or lower recommendation in the moment.
Recovery Demands has 10 positions either side of neutral.
You don’t see a change to blue on the Planner gradient bar when you slam the slider to the left and Save?
From FF help article – The Freshness Feedback feature is specifically designed for use within XATA programs. It does not apply to Xert Forecast AI programs. If you are using XFAI, you should select a workout that feels appropriate for the day and adapt your forecast afterward. [if necessary]
I do see the change when I do that but that requires me to rerun the entire forecast every time I update this. I’m not sure what my correct setting should be though.
I would have much rather the system suggest which one is appropriate based on load, rather than just what I think.
XFAI generates a plan so changing your freshness would require changing the currently planned training and perhaps the entire plan. You’ll have to Adapt Forecast if the day’s planned training changes.
We don’t recommend training if you’re readiness is poor for the planned training. You can decide to do something easier and then adapt the forecast after but there’s nothing to “recommend” other than what you have planned.
