Predicts my power will actually go down ![]()
Did you request a decrease? Is your availability restricting what you can do?
Give us more details so we can see why.
This is what I had set before clicking ‘run forecast AI’
If I set specificity to ‘mixed’, it predicts an increase, of 2w.
Try these two experiments –
-
Set TED (target event date) to 60 days from now instead of the default 30 days out.
Run the forecast. -
Set TED back to 30 days out and change Specificity to Polar and Periodization to 0.0%
Run the forecast.
What were the results?
Specifity is the ratio between high and low, focus is the ratio between peak and low.
Specifity “pure” will need a lot more High TL than what you have (+9.8 /+ 200%). To reach that from where you are within 4 weeks, you will be too tired from huge amounts of high intensity work to keep your low TL at 109. This will lead to a decrease in low TL / threshold and 6 min power until you get used to the new ratio. You might build up again after you got adapted to your new specifity / low to high-ratio.
Availability? What happens when you slide your max weekly hours higher? You might be limited by hours.
