Didn’t Xert automatically add your current Fitness Signature values (TP, HIE, and LTP) into Notes in Strava at one point? I only recently tried enabling Sync TO Strava again briefly so I’m not sure when that feature was removed. This got me thinking about other information that would be useful to have with each workout file.
I think it would be useful to embed TP, HIE, LTP in the FIT file plus add text strings for all the trainer setting data (Radar Source, Power Meter Source, Trainer Resistance Control, Heart Rate Source, Cadence Source, etc.) as well as app or data collector (Garmin 540, Xert EBC, etc.). I think the last one may already be in there?
One problem is that FIT files aren’t human-readable but Xert could certainly start something here. There must be an Open field of some sort for basic Info that could be used.
It would be REALLY useful if whatever field were used could include specific information that could be displayed in Table View for sorting, etc. Embedding this information in the FIT file would make it possible for other apps to display and, perhaps more useful, give newer users things to think about as they learn Xert, much like the ubiquitous FTP shown pretty much everywhere!
