Endurance Magic buckets outside - cadence and gradient

Yesterday I used MB for a planned endurance ride outside and decided to not only follow the target power but also the target cadence. Then I realised something. The cadence was changing relative to the gradient of the road I was on. So 84 rpm for flats, >92 rpm for downhills and between 44 and 59 on a steep hill that included a 1:4 section. It did lag a little behind but I imagine that was more due to my aged 530 rather than the software.

But wow, if this is real then that is pretty amazing. And, I actually felt a little fresher at the end of the ride after following both power and cadence targets, than I did normally
