EBC app Battery drain on Hammerhead Karoo 3

Anyone seen abnormal battery drain on the K3 while EBC app is loaded? I recently did a 4.5 hour ride and came back with 21% battery power. no routes loaded, no workouts loaded as well. I can’t figure out what is causing such a large battery draw.

Is the excessive drain a recent issue or persistent behavior?
Are sensors only paired under Karoo settings and using ANT+?
Was radar in use on a busy traffic route?
Was live tracking active with Wi-Fi enabled?
