Difference between Continuous and Challenge XATA?

What is the actual difference between the Continuous and Challenge XATA programs given the same ramp rate? It seems like they’re almost the same but challenge acts as a “reminder” to switch your program after 30 days. Although I notice that even given the same ramp rate the predicted XSS gains are slightly different.

A 30-day Challenge is singularly focused ( ) on the selected Focus Duration point.
With Continuous there is a greater variety in HIT intensities and Specificity that target the selected Focus Duration. IOW the recommended HIT workouts won’t be as repetitive as those in the Challenge program.
With Challenge you’ll likely set a fixed ramp rate for the term. Essentially a 4-week training block to improve that X-minute power.
With Continuous you’ll want to vary ramp rate and Focus Duration over time.
