At the beginning of my tracking using xert I found the numbers to be right in line with where I was. I had just had a step test and VO2 max test done and the numbers were spot on. Since then I have had two subsequent tests and while they have gone up and the numbers moved in a positive way, xert shows a constant decline in everything. My Threshold power during the test was 302 but xert had me in the 260 range. So it seems that the program is adjusting down to allow me to make breakthroughs. But is that an accurate depiction of my capabilities? I am what is considered a power sprinter by the program. so achieving breakthroughs is not particularly easy on a regular basis, especially when I am doing training rides or recovery rides. All of this seems to count against me.
