Choosing athlete type as marathon mountainbiker

Hi, I think this question pops-up more often, but what’s the best athlete type for somebody who’s mainly a mountainbiker and training for marathons (100km 5h) or multistage (4 days) events? Now I selected climber, don’t know if this is the correct athlete type.

Hi Bram. Yes definitely the MTB stage races would be more focused on longer duration fitness. Climber/Sprint Time-Triallist would be the ones to look at. If your weakness is endurance, go with Sprint Time-Triallist but if you struggle on the shorter climbs, choose Climber or even GC Specialist to get more training for short duration efforts.
