Changed to continuous improvement plan = no strava image made?

Hey all,

Changed my plan to a continuous improvement plan, and the first ride under this new plan, xert did not automatically generate and attach the xert image to my Strava ride.

Coincidence/glitch, or is this expected behavior?

Is there some way to have Xert -always- attach the image?

Only create a report (strava) if you use an XFAI training plan!

Got it ok thanks

You mean like this?

I’m in continuous improvement and all the workouts are like this and I think it’s nothing related with your training plan.

XERT workout:

Zwift direct upload / Xert analized:

Breakthroughs always will get the image, in my experience at least.

Are you doing a specific workout each time you get the image? What about if you’re on continuous and just ride around with no workout

No breakthrough are the same. I think you just got a glitch.

What about a just riding around ride, no workout planned to execute

Riding indoor without any other app/software, and XERT EBC or PC without workout?? I’ve never ridden like that, but yes, then there’s no image.

I’m having the same problem, some rides generate image report and others don’t… I’m always recording activities with my garmin or xert ebc.

There are several types of charts that we generate for Strava.

  • Breakthroughs (Near Breakthroughs): These show the activity MPA chart & relative changes to your signature:

  • Workouts: These are shown when completing a workout (using Xert EBC or Garmin Workout Player App) & show the MPA chart with the XSS, Focus, Difficulty, etc. If you’re using an XATA plan, it’ll show information about your Program Type as well (Continuous Improvement shown below):

  • Forecast AI: These are only for users with XFAI training plans and show the MPA chart along with information about their Target vs. Completed Low, High, & Peak XSS, recovery times, etc. These are given for all activities - indoor/outdoor, structured workouts, free-rides, etc.

We could consider doing an updated “Magic Buckets” report for rides completed using Buckets XFAI and maybe even XATA programs… We’d have to think about what information can/should be shown for those rides.
