The settings seem to be missing. I was really sick back in October and November. My Aerobic fitness really dropped off. In order to get accurate indoor workouts, I would like to drop my LTP power, but I can’t adjust anything in my profile settings. What can I do to adjust it down?
You can manually lower your signature by opening your last activity & manually keying in the FTP you’d like to use at the bottom of the page, then Save your changes.
To clarify, there is no way to directly lower your Lower Threshold Power (LTP)… that’s calculated using the other parts of your signature.
Would lowering the FTP then lower the LTP?
Yes, lowering FTP will also lower LTP by roughly a similar amount.
That worked perfectly. It is much more in line with how I feel when cycling at those power levels. Will get back up there eventually, but I don’t want more stress just to keep up with a number.
Will Xert pick up and start adapting the FTP from that point or is it locked after Saving? In other words, when/how do you Undo the change or is that unnecessary?
It works the same way as a breakthrough. Going forward it will change based on adjustments in load and new breakthroughs.
