Auto sync of WOTD to Zwift but using Magic Bucket

I have xert configured to automatically sync upcoming workouts to Zwift which gets the workout to my “For You” section of the Zwift home screen. Some days I choose to do an event and use Magic Buckets on my Garmin rather than complete the workout that has synced to Zwift. When I do this the workout remains in the “For You” section and I have to do a work around to remove it.

Wondering if there is a way to designate a day as a Magic Buckets day so a WOTD is not generated and sent to Zwift. I typically look the night before to see if there is an event I want to participate in and then I could mark the day in a way that it does not generate and sync a workout.

I haven’t been riding outside in the few weeks since I have been using xert but I would guess I’m going to have the same issue. A workout is going to sync to Zwift, I’m going to use magic buckets outside and then that workout is going to remain in the “For You” section.

Magic buckets rocks! I love the option to be able to follow a plan and not have to do a structured workout every day. Variety helps keep the rides interesting.

If there is not a way to do this then maybe I need to move this to a feature request.

I don’t think there’s a way to do this.

Either you have the WOTD option on & Xert assigns one of the top recommended workouts each day OR you disable it and Xert will only send workouts that you schedule to Zwift (and other connected apps/devices).

Personally, I mostly use Magic Buckets and free ride endurance or race to hit my XSS targets so I have turned off the WOTD option. If I really want to do a workout, I will schedule it for myself ahead of time (or use the paper airplane icon to send the workout directly to Zwift). In both cases, the workout will show up at the top of the ‘For You’ section.

HTH!
