I try to click use the Adapt Forecast once in a while to make sure my plan is up-to-date based on the work I have done so far. Especially if I have done more or less than the prescribed XSS (say ~30 XSS).
I have mentioned this before, but I think it would be benefitial to be able to see the changed being done to the plan both at a program level and a day-by-day level.
- At the program level it would be nice to see what is the benefit of the new plan to the old plan? If there are no benefits, I guess we can just stick to the current plan?
- Will you reach a different/better fitness signature by the end of the plan?
- Will the training load be higher/lower by the end of the plan (linked to above I guess)?
- Will the total XSS (low, high, peak) be higher/lower? (I.e. you have done too litle or too much so far, and now we have to adjust for that.)
- Did Xert remove some violated contraints, i.e. the previous plan wasn’t really feasibily anymore?
- For each day, be able to see what the previous allocation was. This could be done by adding this information to the tooltip for each day. Alternatively, being able to switch between the new forecast and the current plan (using the same layout and zoom so you can easiy see the differences).
- The alternation between white and gray background should match weeks (Monday-Sunday), and not alternate between 6 and 8 days. This makes it easier to compare the plan to your weekly cycle.
Below you can see an example of the adoption proposed for me today. Instead of doing low intensity today, it suggests doing the high intensity. I have have already planned my workout for today, and only want to change it if it makes a real difference.
