There are two “rainbows” on the Training Pacer gauge:
Why are there two “rainbows” and what do they indicate? The internal one seems intuitive enough, but the external one is a mystery to me. I can’t find any explanation in Xert’s support database.

Outer band = training recommended (grey zone) versus optional (teal zone).
Here’s the video snippet that explains it. Back up for a full explanation.

The training pacer gauge just desperately needs some labels. I’ve seen this question pop up a few times, and even had to look it up myself to figure out what they meant. Really any chart / graph / gauge should have some kind of labeling on it that doesn’t require looking up an external resource to figure out what it means. It’s definitely not the most straight-forward display to get 100% explanation integrated, especially with the blue triangle representing the same info but projected 24 hours ahead. But I think there’s something that could be added to avoid having to look up an article in the KB to know the fundamentals of what it represents.
