IIRC, the thumbnail will change from the GPS map of the activity to the MPA chart if you hover over it. Perhaps we could allow users to make the activity cards on the planner to show MPA chart by default. That might be an option.
Thanks for the reply, it would be great to have that.
While we’re on the subject, one more small comment or observation.
I understand how the program works and I know it’s a pretty big change.
However, the recommended exercises could have a range displayed, not just a “flat power” value.
I use XERT for running, and I enter my own ranges that I can’t exceed into the Stryd app. However, it would be useful to know how XERT interprets, for example, 5min LT = 288 watts in my case.
Is 284 from the bottom still OK or too weak, and the same from the top, is 292 too strong or still within the range?
I know I should aim for the designated average, but running is more difficult than cycling, and then there’s the daily routine. There is no substitute for reason and common sense, I realize that, but it would be nice to have slightly wider recommended ranges.
I am not a fan of ranges besides the three zones below LTP, above TP and in between. It makes me feel worse not hitting a range instead of a number. I like knowing what I am suggested to do and I know that I cannot hit that exactly anyways. I even allow myself to fill my buckets faster or slower depending how I feel today.
