Non-cycling activity advice changed?

Hi, Coming back to Xert after a month of inactivity. When I was last using it regularly, the advice I read was to import Non-cycling activities like running and enter estimated XSS. Now the FAQ says to only put in cycling activities and adjust freshness. Has this advice changed recently? Should I now follow what the FAQ states? Thanks.

You can put in non-cycling activities, but note that they will affect your cycling fitness (PP/HIE/TP). We issued this change because of the newly released Freshness Feedback tuner that allows you to adjust the XATA recommendations based on how you feel (without necessarily inputting those non-cycling activities).
