occasionally i record multiple commutes or something as one file which stretches across more than 1 day (or just a morning ride and an evening ride within a day). xert seems to fail in this case. basically it seems to lack the ability to classify the time spent at work or wherever as something to be analyzed, and instead thinks of it as a 24 hour ride (or whatever). obviously i could just stop doing this but i think this ought to be handled (strava does it fine). i think it is annoying to upload every bit of your commute separately, spamming all your followers.
Because of the analysis computing requirements, we limit rest periods to 8 hours at the moment.
