MPA Analysis youtube video is very confusing - help me understand

I have just subscribed to Xert and and trying to understand this. I am confused as I thought that the idea of Xert is to determine all the metrics (Threshold Power, MPA, HIE etc etc) from the data. I cannot understand why you are manually over-riding the Xert detected values and then recalculating. Can you explain? Seems circular to me - the user says “Xert’s values are wrong so I will adjust them”. Then ask Xert to recalulate the values and we get new ones - isnt the data the data and we should get the same answer each time. Very confusing…

The need to do manual MPA Analysis has been mostly eliminated since we produced the video. Comes in handy when your activities have bad data, however, and you’re looking to properly interpret the data that is correct.
