I did a sprint in today’s T of W ride to see where my Peak Power is. I blew through my historical Peak Power, but the ride says it’s flagged for errors. I’m assuming this is because of the power spike during the sprint. How do I remove the flag and make that my new Peak Power?
Hi Troy, If a large change in one of the parameters occurs, the system may not be able to extract the signature properly. Go to the activity in question and use the ‘advanced MPA’ tab to bump PP up to near where it was for the activity, and then click the extract button. If that works, you may un-flag the activity. Additionally, Xert uses a 5 sec filter to avoid power meter spikes from affecting your data, so often times a PP sprint that is shorter than 5 seconds will not be analyzed.
